TPF Recruitment is pleased to represent a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants currently seeking a skilled Senior Tax Manager, Director, or aspiring Partner to join their growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to play a key leadership role while benefiting from a clear progression route towards Partnership.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee a diverse and challenging portfolio, lead a dedicated tax team, and play an instrumental role in client acquisition and business development. This position is ideally suited for a CTA-qualified professional with at least 7+ years of experience in a tax-focused role within an accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality tax advice and compliance services.

Provide expert guidance on a range of tax issues, including corporate, personal, and advisory matters.

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Lead business development initiatives, identify opportunities for growth, and expand the firm’s client base.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

Stay updated on tax legislation, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for clients.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a driven and forward-thinking tax professional, eager to contribute to the firm’s growth and develop their own career towards Partnership.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

CTA qualified, with 7+ years of tax experience in an accountancy practice.

Strong technical knowledge across corporate and personal tax.

Proven experience in client portfolio management.

A track record of successful business development and client acquisition.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.

Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset.
