Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisor to work within secondary schools in Brighton. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for education and those who want to gain valuable experience in a classroom setting. As a Cover Supervisor, you will ensure the smooth running of lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, helping maintain a productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes of secondary school students across various subjects and year groups.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students are engaged and on task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining discipline in line with the school's policies.
  • Support students as they complete assigned work, answering questions and offering guidance when needed.

  • Maintain a positive learning environment, ensuring a safe and focused classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:
