A Day in the Life of a CPN:

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of adults within a Community Mental Health Team. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations

  • Developing and implementing personalised care and treatment plans

  • Managing a caseload as a care coordinator for service users with complex needs

  • Medication management and participation in duty rotas

  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Current and valid NMC registration and PIN

  • Essential: Experience in care coordination within a community mental health setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & nursing care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is for 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
