Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Brighton

Salary: Up to 35,000 per annum (pro rata to P/T hours)

Our client, a leading organisation in their field, is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Advisor to join their team. You will be responsible for providing high level HR support and guidance to the organisation, ensuring a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers and employees to provide expert advice on HR policies and procedures
  • Manage the recruitment and retention process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Contribute to the development and revision of employment policies and procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of employee health and safety initiatives
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and grievance procedures
  • Promote employee wellbeing through various programmes and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of HR practises and employment legislation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification is desirable
