Level 3 Qualified Practitioner - East Sussex – Immediate Start

We are collaborating with a fantastic nursery school in East Sussex to recruit a new L3 Early Years Practitioner for their team, with the aim of starting on a permanent basis as soon as possible. This nursery school offers a delightful and open-plan setting where children can flourish and develop, along with excellent opportunities for training and skill enhancement.  This role is all year round.

The Role As a Level 3 practitioner in this supportive and inclusive atmosphere, you will be responsible for assisting children aged 0 to 5 years. Your duties will include creating a safe and enriching educational environment. A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is crucial. Additionally, this position allows you to creatively employ resources to inspire and elevate the children's learning experiences.

The ideal candidate

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices
  • Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
