Job Description:
Trident Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiology Assistant to join a dynamic team in Brighton for a private client. As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the radiolographers and ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist radiographers in preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during radiological examinations.
- Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring it is clean and functional.
- Prepare and manage patient records and documentation.
- Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology but not essential and can be within a different speciality.
- Assistants with experience in other medical fields will also be considered.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Basic knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment is an advantage.
- Ideally with a UK driving license
