Year 3 Class Teacher Wanted!

Location: Brighton

Part Time (2 days a week) – Until the end of the academic Year

Supply Desk are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Brighton on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to work with a wonderful class every Thursday and Friday until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for all pupils. Strong behaviour management skills are essential, as you will need to maintain a focused and respectful classroom atmosphere while delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching for Year 3 pupils on Thursdays and Fridays
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all subjects, in line with the Year 3 curriculum
  • Implement effective strategies to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support the development of pupils' academic and personal growth
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities as required

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching at Key Stage 2, particularly Year 3
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A creative approach to teaching and learning
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
