Are you looking for a part time, term time only role in a salon environment that enables you to share you knowledge and expertise with our students?
Brighton Met College, in the centre of Brighton, is recruiting for a Salon Co-ordinator on a term time only basis, who will be responsible for supervising the reception area, taking all bookings, retailing, assessing students on their reception units, and overseeing the general day-to-day running and marketing of our commercial salons.
The College’s Salons are where the Hair, Barbering and Beauty students have the chance to work in a realistic working salon, providing services and retailing to members of the public, college staff and college students. The salons operate in a similar way to any commercial salon, and you will be required to work flexibly as our facilities will be open throughout the day, in the evening and there is a possibility they will be open some weekends in the future.
As our Salon Co-ordinator, you will predominantly work within the reception area, they may also be required to support elsewhere within the hair and beauty department on occasion. Our Salon Co-ordinator will have experience in beauty or hairdressing and an understanding of health and safety requirements in a salon environment.
Working for the Chichester College Group means you get amazing benefits, with pension and annual leave entitlement highly competitive against what is offered by the private sector (annual leave for this term time only role is paid as part of the salary). You also get access to a range of discount schemes and professional development opportunities.
