Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client based in Brighton. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days a week required onsite.
The Ideal HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in partnering with your assigned directorate to develop the strategic people plan, advising, coaching and supporting across a range of people matters and driving positive cultural change in alignment with the organisation's corporate strategy. You will work collaboratively with HR centres of expertise including employee relations, reward, programmes, learning and development, talent acquisition and succession, to deliver a seamless customer experience back into the organisation.
The duties of the HR Business Partner will include
- Collaboratively work with the Executive Committee leaders managers and teams within the organisation, delivering effective people solutions including resource forecasting, organisational development, and workforce skills and capability planning
- Foster productive relationships with leaders and people managers at all levels to support their development and that of their teams
- Collaboratively work with your people directorate colleagues to enable the delivery of a seamless HR service
- Provide coaching and mentoring on people issues such as employee relations
- Champion the organisation's diversity and equal opportunities approach and practices
- Plan and direct people, culture and organisation projects
- Using data and management information (MI) to measure, track, evaluate the effectiveness of the people plan and interventions
- Being a strong advocate for people change and improvement, including the people and culture strategy and EDI strategy
The HR Business Partner will ideally have:
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of working at a similar level is essential
- Experience of working in a public sector organisation is desirable
- Experience of successfully developing and managing complex change programmes and projects
The HR Business Partner will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
