Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a new challenge to work for a well-established company?

This is an exciting new opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join a company based in Central Brighton on a Maternity Contract for 9-12 Months. The hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (however they could consider part time working between 28-30 hours per week either 4 days or 5 shorter days. The role is paying between £40k-£45k Per Annum (DOE) and offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office and the remaining days working from home.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring the company is following current policies and procedures in line with current legal requirements and regulations
  • Checking end of year and probation reviews are completed by managers and providing additional support to the HR team when required
  • Providing training and support to managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure the development of employees for the business
  • Completing HR inductions for all new employees, as well as exit interviews and off-boarding procedures for leavers
  • Training for Mental Health First Aiders, managers and all employees on mental health and wellbeing
  • Investigating complaints and grievances when required
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring GDPR is adhered to at all times
  • Sending emails and uploading posts on the company website to all employees to update them on company information

To be successful for this position, you must have proven HR management or leadership experience. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. Please note, you must be able to start by 3rd - 10th March 2025.
