Salary: £34,000 - £40,000
We are currently working in partnership with a leading organisation in Brighton, who are recruiting for a Network Engineer on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position with hybrid working options and a competitive benefits package including a generous pension scheme.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience with enterprise network equipment, routine maintenance procedures, and fault-diagnosis skills.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting critical network services within an enterprise IT infrastructure
- Managing and maintaining secure, reliable networks
- Liaising with colleagues across all departments to understand requirements
- Providing technical advice in clear practical terms
- Following change control procedures and documentation standards
- Transporting equipment and traveling to multiple sites
- Installing and maintaining networks across several campuses
Experience required:
- Practical experience configuring enterprise network equipment
- Experience carrying out routine maintenance
- Experience with fault-diagnosis and performance monitoring
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Understanding of the ISO network model
- Knowledge of LAN protocols
- Familiarity with enterprise networking technologies
- Methodical and accountable working approach
- Ability to collaborate and share knowledge
