Salary: 63,446 - 81,069 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent
Location: Brighton/Hybrid (6 days per month in the office)
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Management Lead to drive data strategy, governance, and operations. This role will lead a team, develop a Data Marketplace, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data use and enhance reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the data management team, providing guidance and professional development.
Develop and implement data management strategies, tooling, policies, and procedures.
Oversee the design and implementation of a Data Marketplace for secure and efficient data sharing.
Collaborate with data platform and engineering teams to enhance Power BI reporting and data analytics.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and maintain data integrity.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team success.
Drive continuous improvement in data management practices and technologies.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in data management, governance, and security.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, and data transfer technologies.
Experience working with data protection regulations.
Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
