Salary: 63,446 - 81,069 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent
Location: Brighton/Hybrid (6 days per month in the office)

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Management Lead to drive data strategy, governance, and operations. This role will lead a team, develop a Data Marketplace, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data use and enhance reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the data management team, providing guidance and professional development.

  • Develop and implement data management strategies, tooling, policies, and procedures.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of a Data Marketplace for secure and efficient data sharing.

  • Collaborate with data platform and engineering teams to enhance Power BI reporting and data analytics.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and maintain data integrity.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team success.

  • Drive continuous improvement in data management practices and technologies.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in data management, governance, and security.

  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, and data transfer technologies.

  • Experience working with data protection regulations.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
