About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Liaison Officer to join our team and support a Decent Homes improvement program. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication between residents, contractors, and project teams, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum satisfaction during refurbishment and renovation works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and providing updates on work schedules and progress.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, ensuring their needs and queries are managed effectively.

  • Liaise with contractors and site teams to coordinate work schedules and resolve any access issues.

  • Conduct pre-entry visits, surveys, and assessments to inform residents of planned works and potential impacts.

  • Provide support to vulnerable residents, ensuring appropriate measures are in place to meet their specific needs.

  • Handle complaints and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions, complaints, and resolutions.

  • Ensure all communication materials, such as letters and notices, are clear, accurate, and distributed in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with site managers and project teams to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) or Customer Service role within social housing, construction, or refurbishment projects.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents from diverse backgrounds.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving resident concerns.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience maintaining records and reports.

  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
