A Commercial Solicitor is required to join a major organisation based in the South East on a permanent basis. The Commercial Solicitor will be joining an established in-house legal function and taking on a range of Commercial work. This role will see the successful Solicitor working closely with the Infrastructure Team, so experience dealing with construction and engineering law would be extremely beneficial.

The successful Commercial Solicitor will be able to benefit from flexible working but will be required to attend the office in the South East twice a week.

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Commercial Solicitor to provide expert legal services for major infrastructure programs across the South East.

As a Commercial Solicitor, your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Commercial Solicitor and wider team to advise on engineering and construction matters related to large infrastructure projects.
  • Advise on legal structuring of diverse commercial contracts and projects.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize complex commercial contracts.
  • Provide guidance on public procurement regulations and legal policies.
  • Engage in the early stages of contentious and non-contentious legal matters.
