A superb opportunity has arisen for a Senior Partner to join this prestigious and well established law firm based in the heart of Brighton.

The ideal candidate will have sound working knowledge of the Private Client practice area with a minimum of 3 years PQE and will be client focussed with an excellent understanding of compliance procedures in relation to Solicitors Account Rules and Anti-money laundering.

Duties as follows:

  • To manage a busy caseload ensuring client care is a priority at all times.
  • To deal effectively with complex probate matters.
  • To deal with Estate Planning and Deeds of Variation
  • To manage wealth protection on behalf of clients in the form of trusts and trust deeds
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (Financial and/or Health and Welfare
  • Preparing Declarations of Trust over residential property
  • Managing Will changes
  • ?Dealing with Inheritance Tax
  • ?Dealing with litigation matters - contesting a will
  • Applications to the Court of Protection for vulnerable adults
  • Ensuring that clients are dealt with in a professional manner demonstrating empathy as required.
