An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager to join an industry leader in the research and production of unique and highly accurate medical devices. These devices are used to diagnose a variety of issues, including various forms of cancer.

As the QA Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement across the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will also collaborate closely with the Group Quality Director to ensure alignment of processes across the organisation. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, managing internal and external audits, and fostering a strong quality culture within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing the QA policies and procedures
  • Managing change control, document control, and non-conformances (CAPA), ensuring timely resolution of quality issues
  • Leading internal audits and supporting external audits
  • Providing QA training and driving continuous improvement across the business
  • Tracking and reporting key QA metrics

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Medical Device QA role
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to effectively promote quality initiatives at all levels
  • Willingness to travel to the Group Office in Sheffield when required
