Dispute Resolution Secretary

Our well-established client is seeking experienced secretary/administrator to join their busy & friendly Dispute Resolution department in central Brighton

You will be supporting a small team, alongside another secretary, who works part-time, in a range of client-focused secretarial and administrative tasks. You will assist partners and other team members with a wide range of support work, including monthly billing and general file management.

You will ideally have had secretarial experience, ideally in a dispute resolution/commercial litigation team, but we will consider relevant administrative & secretarial experience gained in other legal areas.

You will have:

  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how your role contributes to the success of the business;
  • Experience of legal billing, with a good standard of numeracy;
  • Good IT skills and fast, accurate typing, including audio.
  • Good administrative and time management skills;
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and responsible team approach;
  • Be flexible and adaptable & willing to develop and adapt to changing business needs;
  • A professional, confident approach to your work.
