We are seeking a proactive Legal Assistant to join our conveyancing team. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of conveyancing procedures including completion, stamping, and registration. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conducting matter opening and closing.
  • Drafting property contracts and transfers.
  • Preparing and coordinating completions.
  • Handling stamping and registration tasks.
  • Providing administrative support for compliance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information accurately.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • A relevant qualification in law or paralegal studies is advantageous but not essential.
