Paralegal - Dispute Resolution

Brighton | Permanent | £24k to £28k depending on experieince

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our clients leading law firm located in Brighton and Hove.

The role will be working within their busy Dispute Resolution department and will be conducting Landlord and Tenant Possession matters in addition to supporting the Solicitors with General Litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

These will include but not limited to:-

  • Taking new enquires
  • Opening new files
  • Drafting applicable notices to tenants
  • Drafting claim forms and particulars of claims
  • Drafting witness statements
  • Preparing bundles for court
  • Instructing bailiffs
  • Billing and issuing invoices to clients
  • liaising with Clients, Counsel, Court and Defendants.

Its important that the candidate already has legal experience of working within a law firm and ideally within the Property Litigation, Dispute Resolution, or Landlord and Tenant departments (although candidates with experieince of working in other departments are also of interest and invited to apply).

They offer ongoing training to support the right candidate to progress in the Dispute Resolution / Landlords & Tenants area.

You will be joining a busy team so you will need to be energetic, enthusiastic, work well under pressure and be a good team player. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate commitment and drive whilst delivering high quality service at all times.
