The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our busy Residential Property team. You will play a key role in assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting fee earners with conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
- Drafting contracts, preparing legal documents, and conducting property searches
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
- Managing post-completion formalities, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Maintaining case files and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
About You:
- Previous experience in residential property is essential
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and Land Registry procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
