Residential Property Paralegal - Brighton & Hove

Are you an experienced Residential Property Paralegal looking for a fantastic opportunity in Brighton & Hove? Join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service.

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our busy Residential Property team. You will play a key role in assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting fee earners with conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
  • Drafting contracts, preparing legal documents, and conducting property searches
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
  • Managing post-completion formalities, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Maintaining case files and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

About You:

  • Previous experience in residential property is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and Land Registry procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
