We are looking to recruit a SharePoint Online Specialist for a technology driven public sector organisation on an initial 3 month contract. Working in a lead role on a large scale cloud migration project the ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SharePoint migrations, particularly using ShareGate software and PowerShell.

This is a 3 month contract that can be primarily fulfilled from home, however there might be some on site work required in Brighton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migration Support:
• Assist with migration activities as part of my client's cloud migration project.
• Utilise ShareGate software extensively to migrate items into SharePoint.
• Employ PowerShell in conjunction with ShareGate for complex migrations of files and metadata into SharePoint locations.
• Technical Expertise:
• Understand the infrastructure and technical attributes of server-based network shared drives.
• Design and create SharePoint sites, libraries, and other components, including Information Architecture such as retention and sensitivity labels.
• Project Involvement:
• Provide technical cover during the holiday period to ensure seamless migration activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful migration outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Extensive experience with ShareGate software for SharePoint migrations.
• Proficiency in using PowerShell alongside ShareGate for complex migration tasks.
• Expert knowledge in designing and creating SharePoint sites, libraries, and Information Architecture.
• Strong understanding of server-based network shared drives and their technical attributes.
• Experience:
• Proven track record of successful SharePoint migrations using ShareGate and PowerShell.
• Experience in handling complex migration scenarios involving files and metadata.
