Hyde is looking to recruit a Domestic Heating Specialist.

As a Domestic Heating Specialist at Hyde, you will be working within the Heating Compliance Team to assist with the delivery of electrical, renewable energy and 'non gas’ heating systems such as Heat Interface Units (HIUs), ensuring service delivery is efficient, effective, and meets all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance on domestic heating, focusing on electrical and renewable energy systems supported by the Heating Operations Manager.
  • Ensure electrical, HIU and renewable energy programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with regulations.
  • Monitor contractors’ performance, making recommendations for improvements. Chair progress meetings with contractors under the guidance of the Heating Operations Manager
  • Address customer concerns, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to implement changes and improve service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and emerging technologies to ensure best practices.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience with domestic heating systems, particularly electrical and renewable energy technologies.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards for domestic heating.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with managing contractors.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.
