Raven Medical are recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader to work with a Nursery in Brighton. This is permanent post, working 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Caring for children:Ensuring children receive high-quality care that supports their personal development
- Creating a stimulating environment:Providing a learning environment that promotes independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion
- Supervising staff:Mentoring and training staff members, and assigning tasks and schedules
- Building relationships:Establishing positive relationships with parents, carers, and staff
- Complying with regulations:Ensuring the nursery complies with all regulatory requirements
- Assessing children's progress:Monitoring, recording, and assessing children's progress
- Maintaining records:Keeping records such as attendance registers, accident records, and safety checks
- Identifying risks:Identifying potential risks to children and developing ways to minimize them
- Establishing procedures:Establishing emergency and security procedures
- Encouraging cleaning practices:Encouraging practices such as handwashing and hand sanitizing
- Contributing to curriculum plans:Contributing to curriculum plans that meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Essential: Level 3 Childcare or equivalent
Salary: up to 32k
Location: Brighton, Elm Grove
