Senior Surveyor Wanted!

Our client is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The Senior Surveyor will be working on a hybrid basis and working across several projects in different sectors, providing a range of building surveying. The Senior Surveyor must have a Building Surveying RICS accredited degree and have all-round experience in surveying.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Surveyor:

  • Assist with the development of new and repeat business across all sectors
  • Manage the client relationship and service delivery
  • Understand principles of quality, health, safety and the environment
  • Defect analysis undertake building surveys and produce professional reports and specifications
  • Framework management
  • Work across several projects in different sectors
  • Designing and leading small to medium-sized construction projects
  • Professional services e.g: Party Walls, asset management, statutory applications
  • Project management and contract administration

Skills Required for the Senior Surveyor:

  • Building Surveying RICS accredited degree
  • Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience
  • Understanding of BIM
  • Experience in managing clients and their expectations
  • Strong IT skills, Word and Excel as a minimum
  • Prepared to travel as required
  • Liaise with senior colleagues to help build a profitable service and positive, high-performing team environment
  • Experience in both pre and post-contract project management responsibilities
