An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic and supportive Frailty Therapy Team in the Sussex area. The role offers a competitive salary between £25 and £30 per hour, based on experience, and is available for full-time or part-time hours.
Location: EastSussex Area
Salary: £25 - £30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract: 3-month contract with the potential to extend
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (part-time options available)
Start Date: ASAP
As part of the Frailty Therapy Team, the Occupational Therapist will play a key role in assessing and managing individuals with frailty, supporting their rehabilitation and maximising their independence. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on patient care within a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality therapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with frailty and complex needs
- Develop and implement personalised therapy plans to support patients’ independence
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Provide education and advice to patients and families on daily living aids and adaptations
- Document and monitor patient progress, ensuring accurate records are maintained
- Support the development and delivery of service improvements
The position offers a 3-month contract with the potential for extension, and applicants are encouraged to apply promptly to start as soon as possible.
