The Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Suite
- Photography & Video Editing: Skilled in using a camera, photo, and video editing
- Social Media Expertise: Minimum 4 years of experience in social media roles
- Project & Change Management: Ability to manage projects and adapt to change
- Strategic & Critical Thinking: Problem-solving mindset, ability to influence at all levels
- Creativity & Design: Strong design flair and creative content creation
- Attention to Detail & Time Management: High accuracy, ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Communication & Organisation: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organisational skills
- Industry Experience: Experience in a complex global organisation (retail brand experience is a plus)
The Role:
- Develop and execute a global social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create engaging content that reflects brand messaging and resonates with audiences.
- Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent scheduling across platforms.
- Foster audience engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Work with Customer Care to ensure efficient handling of customer queries.
- Track and analyse key social media metrics to measure performance and optimise strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on influencer campaigns and paid social media initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends and integrate them into strategies.
- Monitor online conversations to manage brand reputation and escalate concerns as needed.
- Work cross-functionally to align content, campaigns, and overall brand strategy.
