The Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Suite
  • Photography & Video Editing: Skilled in using a camera, photo, and video editing
  • Social Media Expertise: Minimum 4 years of experience in social media roles
  • Project & Change Management: Ability to manage projects and adapt to change
  • Strategic & Critical Thinking: Problem-solving mindset, ability to influence at all levels
  • Creativity & Design: Strong design flair and creative content creation
  • Attention to Detail & Time Management: High accuracy, ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Communication & Organisation: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organisational skills
  • Industry Experience: Experience in a complex global organisation (retail brand experience is a plus)

The Role:

  • Develop and execute a global social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Create engaging content that reflects brand messaging and resonates with audiences.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent scheduling across platforms.
  • Foster audience engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  • Work with Customer Care to ensure efficient handling of customer queries.
  • Track and analyse key social media metrics to measure performance and optimise strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on influencer campaigns and paid social media initiatives.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends and integrate them into strategies.
  • Monitor online conversations to manage brand reputation and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally to align content, campaigns, and overall brand strategy.
