Removal and repositioning of furniture and equipment.Check buildings regularly and report maintenance issues and H&S concerns to the managerAssist in carrying out maintenance and H&S inspections of all areas as well as carrying PPM’s.Creation and dismantling of equipment when necessary and where safe.Direction of visitors and the giving and receiving of messages by telephone, radio link and in person, including the operation of the emergency line. Completing maintenance requests via email to the Service Centre.Reception duties as required including post sortingCleaning of buildings and surrounds involving offices, foyers, common rooms and other areas, (including toilets), and daily removal of rubbish.Assisting with fire alarm activations and evacuations where safe and as detailed in local risk assessment.To provide initial and immediate support to students who may be unwell or distressed.
