We are seeking a talented and versatile Temporary Content/Bid Writer to join our team in Brighton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation and bid writing, with the ability to produce high-quality, persuasive content under tight deadlines. This role involves collaborating with various departments to develop compelling proposals and engaging content that supports our business objectives.
Day-to-day of the role:- Content Creation: Write and edit articles, blog posts, case studies, and marketing materials that align with our brand voice and strategy.
- Bid Writing: Develop and write persuasive bid documents, including proposals, tenders, and supporting materials.
- Research: Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information for content and bids, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and project teams to gather insights and develop content that meets business needs.
- SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and engagement.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all content and bid documents are of high quality, free of errors, and adhere to company standards.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer and/or Bid Writer.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role within the construction or public sector.
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminologies and bid processes.
