Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor to join a well known organisation based in the just outside the Brighton area on a permanent basis.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing two payrolls, over 4000 employees
  • Supervising a team of 3
  • Deliver cyclical Payroll items including, monthly payroll, year-end, P60’s, P11D’s,
  • Real time reporting
  • Meeting statutory obligations
  • Financial reconciliations
  • Pensions contribution process
  • Advising colleagues at all levels and across the institution of payroll processes and policies
  • To assist in drafting and reviewing payroll policy and processes, under the direction of the Senior Payroll Manager.

Key requirements:

  • A proven track record working in Payroll
  • Knowledge of Payroll reconciliations and financial posting, including reconciliations and able to do a manual calculation
  • Knowledge of occupational sickness, maternity and paternity schemes and their application
  • Hold a recognised qualification in Payroll and Pensions e.g. CIPP Diploma in Payroll Management or equivalent would be desirable but not essential
