What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6 Physiotherapist and play a key role in improving the lives of acute inpatients in A&E. In this role, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments for individuals presenting with a variety of acute conditions.
  • Create and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans to support patient recovery and early discharge.
  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including mobility assessments, respiratory care, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development within the department.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration.
  • Experience working in acute inpatient settings, preferably within A&E or medical assessment units.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring availability from Monday to Friday (weekend shifts available if preferred). The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
