Our client, a specialist tour operator based in Brighton, is seeking a Risk and Safety Manager to join their team. This role entails ensuring all aspects of marine and hotel safety are planned and managed. This is a full time role based in Brighton, Monday-Friday with a salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience.Risk and Safety Manager responsibilities:
- Design and implement a safety management system tailored to company needs
- Establish clear safety policies for marine safety, hotel safety, transport and overall operational risks
- Conduct and review regular risk assessments
- Compile clear operational guidelines for safe operation
- Develop and deliver safety training programmes
- Ensure the company complies with all relevant local, national and international safety regulations for travel, marine operations and accommodation
Risk and Safety Manager skills required:
- Degree level with risk management, marine safety or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of marine and hotel safety regulations
- Able to travel including overseas
- Ability to implement effective systems for all aspects of the companies health and safety process
