Our client, a specialist tour operator based in Brighton, is seeking a Product Manager to join their team. The role involves managing he products and  relationships with suppliers to create unique experiences. The role is based in office Monday-Friday with a competitive salary.Product Manager responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Rate negotiation with hotels and boat suppliers and manage the contracts
  • Monitor supplier service levels and resolve any issues
  • Oversee the planning and defining of trip itineraries
  • Develop a clear understanding of the product strategy and programme plan and the role that in-life products play
  • Understand needs of targeted markets and that product components are appropriate

Product Manager skills required:

  • Ability to build relationships with varied suppliers from different cultures
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in procuring travel products and services
  • Passionate about sports and adventure travel
  • Substantial Supply chain and contracting experience
  • Experience of contracting Hotel and DMC product
  • Experience of marine & transport services
  • Experience of using initiative to solve problems
