PRODUCT MANAGERBRIGHTON - HYRBIDGREAT SALARY Our Customer:Our customer is super niche in what they do and are known globally for being 'THE’ travel specialists for a particular type of adventure holiday. Their customers simply wouldn’t travel with anybody else as nobody knows the 'off the radar’ destinations like they do. They are now looking to add a Product Manager to the business to help them further source and contract market-leading products.As a Product Manager, you will enjoy a competitive salary, a generous annual leave allowance, enhanced pension contributions, exclusive travel discounts, and the opportunity to join exciting familiarisation trips to experience our products first-hand.Job Description:In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and overseeing all aspects of trip delivery to ensure seamless, high-quality holidays. You will play a key role in maintaining standards, optimising operations, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive rates, allocations, and value-added benefits
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and service level agreements, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory standards
  • Oversee itinerary planning and trip operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Monitor supplier performance, address operational issues, and support incident management when required
  • Conduct regular audits and implement feedback to improve service quality and ensure safety, health, and regulatory compliance
  • Champion responsible tourism by developing experiences that benefit local communities and minimise environmental impact
  • Collaborate with internal teams on procurement, capacity planning, and revenue optimisation strategies
  • Conduct market research and performance analysis to inform product development and drive continuous improvement

Experience Required:

  • Friendly and enthusiastic approach with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain professional relationships across diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Proven experience in negotiating and influencing suppliers across multiple regions
  • Commercially minded with a sound understanding of supplier contracts and service level agreements
  • Demonstrable experience in managing supplier quality and making key procurement decisions
  • Track record of securing and managing travel products, including hotels, DMCs, and marine and transport services
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently and independently
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working autonomously and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with efficiency tools and reporting
  • Experience in complaint-handling processes and understanding of relevant legal frameworks
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements in tour operations, with related training
  • Willing and able to travel overseas with flexibility in working hours; full UK driving licence required
  • Degree-educated with strong academic background, including English and Maths at GCSE level
  • Passionate about sports or adventure travel, ideally with personal experience in open-water swimming
