We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead the refurbishment of an Odeon Cinema in Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the transformation of a well-known landmark and deliver a high-quality project to a tight schedule.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the refurbishment, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing refurbishment projects within the construction or leisure sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the cinema refurbishment project.
- Lead the project team and coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring the project stays on track.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Resolve issues promptly and effectively to avoid project delays.
- Report to senior management, ensuring that all project goals are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a background in refurbishments or construction within the leisure or retail sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building codes.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
