Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Rate: 250-300 per day
c. 9 month contract

Company Overview:
This established contractor is known for delivering high quality refurbishment, often with repeat clients. They prioritise strong relationships, client satisfaction, and building a solid reputation. The company has recently secured multiple projects, including work on a landmark building in Brighton, and is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee this high profile project.

The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Brighton refurbishment project, liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery. This role involves working on a live site, interfacing with the client and their representatives, and managing health and safety, programme adherence, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee and support the Site Manager on project delivery.
  • Manage project schedules, procurement, and design coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly progress reports to the client.
  • Liaise with building users, local authorities, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations on a live site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management within construction or refurbishment projects.
  • Strong client facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple aspects of a project, including H&S, design, and quality control.
  • Experience working on live sites is preferred.
