Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the financial and commercial aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget. Your main duties will include:

  • Preparing and managing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Leading cost estimation, value engineering, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conducting detailed cost analysis, risk assessments, and producing financial reports
  • Managing budgets, project costs, and ensuring value for money for both the company and clients
  • Overseeing procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Administering contracts and handling variations, claims, and final accounts
  • Providing expert advice on commercial strategy and contract selection
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the quantity surveying team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Consultancy experience in the construction or fit-out industry is desired
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a proven track record in retail, hospitality, leisure, or healthcare fit-out projects
  • In-depth knowledge of contract administration (JCT, NEC, etc.) and cost management
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-value, complex projects independently
  • Leadership skills and experience in mentoring junior staff
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
