Lettings Administrator

Location: Brighton

Salary: £23,500 - £26,000

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Are you an experienced Lettings Administrator looking to join a well-established and professional property management team? This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a company that values expertise and efficiency.

As a key member of the property management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth tenancy processes and maintaining high standards across a large property portfolio. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with previous experience in property management, lettings coordination, or tenancy administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with tenants to ensure scheduled property checks are completed.
  • Managing check-ins, check-outs, and regular property inspections.
  • Handling tenant screenings, application processes, and associated paperwork.
  • Updating and maintaining compliance records, including EPCs, Gas Safety, and EIC certificates.
  • Drafting tenancy agreements and coordinating renewals.
  • Advertising available properties and negotiating lease terms.
  • Overseeing key management, ensuring smooth handovers.
  • Assisting in portfolio management, instructing and overseeing necessary remedial actions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property records.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven background in lettings administration, property coordination, or property management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants and landlords.
  • Confident conducting property inspections.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in property management software.
