Commercial Property Manager

Salary: £35k - £45k DOE + benefit package

Location: Brighton

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am- 17.30

Do you have a block or commercial property management background and want to work for a well-established, professional and expanding organisation? My client is an independent property development and investment organisation that manage a wide range of commercial and residential properties throughout the Southeast.

You will ideally have your IRPM qualification or willing to take this and have a proven background in block/commercial property management with a good knowledge of dealing with leaseholders and building strong relationships with clients and tenants.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with the day-to-day management and maintenance of commercial and residential properties.
  • Liasing and dealing swiftly with queries and communications from leaseholders and tenants.
  • Organising building surveys and quotes necessary for repairs.
  • Handling complaints effectively and emergency situations.
  • Liasing with the other property managers regarding any reported maintenance issues.
  • Serving legal notifications.
  • Ensuring the building meets compliance checks and any health and safety regulatory requirements.
  • Keeping accurate and up to date records regarding your portfolio, including building inspections, repair records, maintenance requests and complaints.
  • Prepare and administer service charge demands.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Proven block and commercial property management experience.
  • A good understanding of dealing with service charge accounts.
  • Great IT skills inclusive of Word, Excel and using in house CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship build ability.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects at the same time.
  • A sound knowledge of property and letting law.
  • Confident, professional and a natural problem solver that is proactive and solution driven.
