Salary: £30k - £32k + Great company benefits

Location: Brighton

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 17.30pm

Do you have a background in property management or lettings administration and want to work for a proactive and friendly and expanding independent agency that offers the opportunity to further your career and join a busy and close-knit team? If the answer is yes, then would like to hear from you.

In this role you will be responsible for the effective management of a portfolio of residential properties located predominantly across Brighton & Hove, ensuring that you provide outstanding service and building great relationships with the landlords, tenants and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio of circa 140 properties.
  • Dealing with on-going property maintenance for our managed properties and reporting back to landlords and tenants.
  • Arranging mid-tenancy inspections and dealing with any problems or maintenance reported.
  • Ensuring each property has the relevant checks and certificates in line with current legislation.
  • Check out maintenance.
  • Overseeing property maintenance required at the end of a tenancy within a set time frame before a new tenant moves in.
  • New build - snagging and defects.
  • Reporting to block management team and contractors to help resolve any issues and liaising with tenants.
  • Dealing with tenancy Renewals.
  • Check outs/ Deposit returns.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Proven background in managing a portfolio of properties.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Great communication and organisation skills with the ability to be able to multi-task.
  • A genuine passion for giving outstanding service and building strong business relationships.
  • Good IT skills and able to use property software systems.
  • Professional, resilient and a natural problem solver.
