They are seeking a Market Research Manager to become the next unique addition to their close-knit, vibrant team in Brighton. This role will be a 3 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent and will ideally be full time but can be part time for the right candidate.

The work you do here is important and impactful and our client is proud of being the best as what they do. Their ideal candidate will be:

  • Extensive experience in conducting market research.
  • Advanced knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including designing surveys and analysing data.
  • Competence in using tools like SPSS, Excel, and data visualisation platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and deliver results on time.
  • A recognised qualification in market and social research, such as the MRS Level 5 Advanced Certificate or equivalent.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in developing recruitment initiatives or working on audience-focused projects.
  • Familiarity with large datasets and statistical analysis tools.
  • Possession of an advanced market research qualification, such as the MRS Level 7 Diploma.

No two days will be the same, but as a Market Research Manager, you will typically be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering high-quality research projects that generate actionable insights for clients.
  • Managing research projects from initial brief to final delivery, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Conducting fieldwork, including focus groups, interviews, and surveys with diverse audiences (UK fieldwork may be in person or virtual; international fieldwork will be virtual only).
  • Analysing data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to inform strategies.
  • Producing clear, data-driven reports, presentations, and dashboards to effectively communicate findings.
  • Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to meet research objectives.
  • Keeping up to date with trends and developments across relevant industries to enhance client strategies.
