We are ready the take our cafe, the hub of TLC, to the next level (or even the one beyond that)
Will you join us?
You will be managing a team of volunteers, and part time assistants, to prepare and serve quality cafe food, with quality customer service.
The cafe is open 7 days a week, and in the evenings is used for staging events (movie nights for instance). You will be involved in planning events taking place in the cafe,in conjunction with the Centre Manager and others, especially if they involve food.
You will work with us to review the current food offer, systems, and policies, and then be repsonsible for implementing the changes. We want to hear your honest opinions and suggestions.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of a years experience in hospitality or relevant related sector, in a mangaement, supervisory, or proprieter role, possess Level 3 food safety certificate (or be willing to take it), and also experience in a kitchen or able to move us from mostly buying in items, to a sitaution where most items are prepared on site. If you dont tick every box, still apply.
This is a full time role (37.5 hours pw average) and may sometimes involve weekend or evening work, but on the whole hours can be flexible, to work around school hours and holidays for instance.
