Grafton Banks Finance is partnering with an award-winning business in Brighton to recruit a Finance / Accounts Payable Assistant for a six-month temporary contract. This role will support the finance department, with a primary focus on accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process high volumes of invoices.
  • Assist with payment runs, reports, and issuing remittances.
  • Handle expenses and banking transactions.
  • Manage the finance inbox and resolve supplier queries.
  • Support accounts receivable, including issuing sales invoices.
  • Provide ad-hoc support as required.

Requirements:

  • Immediate availability, with the ability to start in April 2025.
  • Hybrid working – able to commute to Brighton 3-4 days per week.
  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or finance assistant role.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn new processes and skills.
