We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead learning within the classroom and be accountable for the achievement of the students taught. This role involves creating an ethos in line with our school motto: “Leading Learning,” and maximising student achievement by delivering a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the development of syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, and teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the curriculum area development plan and its implementation.
  • Plan and prepare courses and lessons.
  • Ensure the curriculum area provides teaching that complements the school’s strategic objectives.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures, encouraging good practice regarding punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
  • Assess, record, and report on the attendance, progress, development, and attainment of students.
  • Provide a high-quality learning experience that meets internal and external standards.
  • Use a variety of delivery methods to stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and syllabus demands.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in teaching, with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Ability to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of school curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain discipline and encourage good practice.
