Maths Teacher

Reed Education are working with a lovely secondary school on the outskirts of Brighton. They are seeking a Maths specialist on a part time basis to cover sickness within the department.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons that ensure all students make at least good progress, as reflected in value-added data and examination results.
  • Evaluate lessons in relation to student learning and plan future lessons accordingly.
  • Assess and record students’ progress and report to parents as required.
  • Contribute to and promote pedagogical dialogue throughout the school.
  • Develop and maintain good professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Undertake school supervision duties as required.

  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths.
  • Ability to inspire, innovate, and nurture students.
