We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher who is passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and school development.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding student progress.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Is committed to continuous professional development.
  • Has the ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • GCSE's or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year working with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
