Teaching Assistant - Brighton

I am currently working with a selection of lovely SEN Schools who are seeking a hardworking and passionate teaching assistants to support their primary and secondary-age pupils to start the next academic year.

About the role:

The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:

  • ASC (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Learning difficulties
  • SEMH
  • Speech and Language and Communication
  • Complex needs

We welcome applicants with a good understanding of working with students with severe ASC and profound, multiple learning difficulties and are enthusiastic about raising the attainment of their pupils. You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs. On-going Professional Development and Training supporting with children is beneficial and desirable. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.
