Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a flexible role? We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in Primary, Nursery, and SEN settings across Brighton and the surrounding areas. Whether you are looking for a full-time role, part-time work, or ad hoc opportunities, we have a variety of positions available to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of lessons and support the teacher in the classroom.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to engage with the curriculum.
  • Support children in small groups, offering tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Supervise children during breaks and lunchtime to ensure a safe and positive environment.
  • Help with the preparation of resources and classroom activities.
  • Encourage and support children's social and emotional development.
  • Maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • GCSE's or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year working with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
