Sonic Summary
- We are seeking an experienced UCD Lead Designer to advocate for a User Centred Design approach within our team.
- The ideal candidate should have practical experience in implementing UCD methods and leading evidence-based design solutions.
- This role also involves coaching and mentoring to foster a UCD culture and identifying skills gaps within the team.
- The position is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week in our client's office in East Sussex, with a salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per year.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in user-centered design.
To be a success in this role you will be able to demonstrate practical experience of implementing a UCD approach. This should include playing a lead role in implementing UCD Methods and adopting an evidence based approach that uses UCD to provide usable solutions that address the needs of the business. In addition to your functional role, the role will include acting as a coach and mentor in building a UCD culture. Identifying skills gaps and playing key role in building the knowledge and capability. At a practical level you will lead the development of the processes and procedures that will create an effective UCD Design function across the organisation and with partners.
This is a hybrid role requiring 1 - 2 days per week in our clients office in East Sussex
