Motorcycle Mechanic/Technician

Location: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum

Salary: Portslade

The Role

Our client is looking for new Mechanic/Technician’s to join their fast-growing team. Not only is this a lively and fun place to work but they also pride themselves on employing people with a strong work ethic who want to excel in their role and become part of the family/furniture.

As a Mechanic/Technician at the company you will be presented with a variety of jobs ranging from puncture repairs to engine rebuilds (depending on ability) so no two days will be the same. You will work on their key brands - Sinnis, Suzuki, MUTT, Royal Enfield, Keeway, Benelli and Yamaha - along with other brands. The ability/willingness to adapt and problem solve is important as is the ability to work to targets and estimated job times. There may be times when you will need to speak to customers face to face or on the telephone where a technical explanation is needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build & PDI new motorcycles.
  • Servicing and repairing a wide variety of used motorcycles.
  • Carry out health checks.
  • Achieve maximum personal efficiency.
  • Understand and adhere to manufacturer guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in Motorcycle Mechanics
